Lodge visit to Freemasons Hall
On the 26th June, several members of the Lodge together with partners and children had an enjoyable tour of Freemasons Hall in London followed by an excellent lunch at Sorastro's Restaurant on Drury Lane.
27 of us gathered at Freemasons Hall for a very informative tour of the Grand Officers' Robing Room, the Grand Temple and the vestibule with the shrine to the fallen Freemasons of WWI. We finished up in the Library and Museum where there is an amazing collection of masonic items.
Following the usual liquid refreshment in the Pillars of Hercules we walked to Sorastro's on Drury Lane. Sorastro's is a real sight to behold with a fun atmosphere. The food served was Turkish/Cypriot and was plentiful and very tasty.
All in all, a pleasant day with excellent company and great food. The next day out is already in the planning stages.
